Peter brings a wealth of experience and insights to the company. Having served in customer-focused CEO, COO, and VP/GM roles for almost 15 years, Peter's passion is guiding companies to market leadership. At Spring Metrics, Peter maps the high-level strategic direction of the company. He does not yet play foosball.
How many tennis balls fit in a 747? Why are manhole covers round? What is the air speed velocity of an unladen swallow? These are just some of the questions that Shannon helped investigate during four years as a Product Manager and Engineer at Google. At Spring Metrics he brings his unique problem-solving skills to the field of web analytics.
Customer Experience Manager
Congress recently voted to change the phrase "Jack of all trades" to "Scott of all trades" in honor of our own multi-talented Scott Lacy. Scott was an early employee at Blackboard, Creative Technology Director for the Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation, a consultant at KPMG and has played every position on the technology field.
Shawn's the guy who finds us the greatest customers in the world—and who tolerates with a smile the clatter of foosballs and the non-stop technobabble in the office. We admire him for running away with the company's March Mardness contest—despite picking against mighty UNC!
Patrick has done tours at two Web powerhouses: Amazon and Google. But when Spring Metrics came knocking, Pat turned in his corporate laptop, dusted off his neon-lit computer case, then hopped on his bike for the six-mile ride to Spring Metrics. Patrick's startup chops were validated when he built his office chair without reading the instructions.
He carries his laptop in a nuclear suitcase, but that's OK — we prefer our engineers be eccentric. Nate makes that which is snazzy, snazzier, and that which is useful, usefuler. He is our in-house lounge act, casually rapping out elegant code while serving up one-liners to anyone within earshot. Oh, yes, and that head of hair ... outstanding!
Customer Happiness Guru
When it came time to hire our customer guru, the Spring team huddled. Richard Simmons? Nah, those striped shorts are too much. Big Bird? Not enough clearance at the door. But then along came Drew, armed with a quick smile and an easy demeanor, and we had our man. Whether you hit us by phone, email, or chat, Drew has your back.
