Client Services Manager

We’re hiring a Client Services Manager to lead our growing client services team and be responsible for client success and retention. If you love working with people to solve problems and help them grow their business, and if you’re excited about helping to shape the culture and products of a company on the rise, see whether you meet these requirements and get in touch with us.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading our client services efforts to provide the absolute best customer experience
  • Achieve or exceed company goals for client success and retention
  • Handle inbound requests (via email, chat, phone, twitter, etc.) to assess client needs and provide exceptional support.
  • Manage client accounts with the goal of maximizing engagement and minimizing churn. This means proactively reaching out to clients to engage and assist with campaigns.
  • Guiding prospective clients through their initial trial period.
  • Resolve technical challenges by working with customers and development team members to provide solutions to problems.
  • Provide input to the product roadmap, and help verify new features to ensure they meet our clients’ needs.
  • Maintain and improve our growing knowledge base.
  • If you’re the right person, you’re never satisfied with the status quo. When you have some downtime, you’d rather figure out new and better ways to deliver client success than post personal updates on Facebook.

Requirements:

  • 3 years experience in customer support or help desk roles, preferably with some leadership experience.
  • Be a people person! Whether it’s written or spoken, you’re compassionate and you care about helping others.
  • Love technology and the web. You don’t need to be a techie person, but you need to be willing to learn some techie stuff and be able to communicate it to others.
  • Be a fast learner. The ecommerce space is complex, dynamic, and fast-moving. You’ll need to be able to learn our application/product quickly and keep up with the pace of innovation.
  • Incredible multi-tasking skills. You will often start a project only to be interrupted by an inbound chat, email, or phone call. And you will need to be okay with this.
  • Solid understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
  • Experience working with e-commerce or analytics packages such as Google Analytics a plus.

Client Support Representative

Sales Representative

We’re seeking a sales representative with three to five years of relevant experience. This position will be joining a small and dynamic team with an excellent track record of delivering month to month growth.

The sales representative will work closely with all team members and will be directly responsible for prospecting, nurturing, and closing new revenue.

Spring Metrics employees are compensated competitively, including equity ownership, and are expected to be self-starters who can set and achieve goals in an exciting market.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Prospecting for new opportunities, including cold calls and inbound leads
  • Moving prospects through a well-defined sales process
  • Conducting product webcasts for individuals and groups
  • Utilizing Salesforce.com to track and document all activities and reports
  • Closing new revenue

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Software as a Service (SaaS) experience
  • Experience in ecommerce is a plus

Back-end Software Developer

Spring Metrics, a fast-growing company providing SaaS solutions to the e-commerce market, seeks an experienced back-end developer. We are a small and dynamic team with an excellent track record delivering products that our clients love, and we are looking for the right team member to join us in our continued success. Employees are compensated competitively including equity ownership, and are expected to be self-starters who can set and achieve goals in an exciting market as part of a small team.

This position will:

  • Own our back-end stack, including redesigning for improved performance as we scale
  • Extend monitoring systems for existing and new systems
  • Develop new data management features for Spring Metrics application
  • Maintain existing and new product features
  • Manage and improve our partner API

Requirements:

  • Experience with real-time web applications; our back-end currently manages 150 events per second and growing
  • Experience building large-scale infrastructural data systems using open-source and proprietary technologies
  • A strong understanding of how internet and Web technologies work
  • Proficiency in Java and C++
  • NoSQL DB experience (preferably Mongo) including sharding, indexing
  • Experience with cloud (preferably AWS) hosting and application deployment & maintenance
  • Very good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently on development tasks

Nice to haves:

  • Experience with Ruby on Rails skills, including Gems
  • Comfortable working with team software engineering practices; familiarity with git a plus
  • We will consider a contractor arrangement for this in the short term.

Degrees are not a requirement, but at least 2 years of real world experience particularly with SaaS and development environments is.
